Some custom items disappear and cannot export content

Describe the bug
Some custom items appear in equipment without a title. They don't appear as selectable and don't take effect for the character it is equipped on.

Attempting to export produces the following error message: "Cannot export all plugins - some contain invalid data. Check console for details."

To Reproduce

Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Go to [Character]

2. In Edit option, select Equipment

3. Any custom items will show as blank and won't take effect.

4. In My Content, attempting to export all content produces the attached error.

Expected behavior

Expected behavior is to have custom items remain in item list.

Content is expected to export as usual.

Open your browser’s developer tools (press F12), reproduce the issue, then copy and share the complete error message from the console.

Just in case there's some conflation going on, custom items are not currently exportable.

It does seem like two separate errors are happening concurrently, though. So please follow Zotz 's request. The console should have more detailed error info

Should've mentioned in my original ticket post: I did try to import a backup source file from January containing most (if not all) source files after I first received the error message, but it didn't seem to fix the issue. Just thought to include. Thanks for you help!

Content does any errors that are claimed to be fixed in those libraries?

The "M" in those errors is likely pointing you to some content missing required fields.

So My first thought is maybe those required fields were not properly fixed on import. So just take note of what it says it fixes on import, then go verify that those fields are properly filled in.

The export should be automatically filling in missing content but it's entirely possible I overlooked some stuff

Okay. Something to test.
Try exporting each of those "broken" libraries individually (not export all)

You should get a modal/popup that wasn't extended out to export-all while we were testing. (It's now on the hotfix list)

Exported both of those libraries individually—they exported as expected to the usual Downloads. Importing that individual download did fill in some missing items and rename a few items. Explorer's Guide to Wildemount Conflicts Detected popup example:

It appears after resolving those name conflicts, the Export All function works as normal! I can also be sure to check the thread if any further troubleshooting is needed on my end :)

As for the custom items disappearing, a friend/other user suggested Ctrl+F5 after I'd submitted the ticket (I think my laptop combo ended up as Fn+F5) so it looks like the only character subject to the item issue was the one I'd had open at the time. I'm not entirely sure of the cause since it wasn't isolated to me, but another friend had the same issue crop up. Just thought to make it known to you all! Again, thanks for your help!

Just to make sure I'm understanding properly - the custom item DID eventually propagate after hard refreshing?

The custom items on the opened character sheet remained gone after trying the hard refresh (from the item list)/null (in the equipment list in Editing view) and I had to re-create the items manually. After the refresh, I opened a few other sheets with custom items, and none of my other custom items on there seemed to be affected. My friend with the same issue has not yet performed the hard refresh, but I'll add anything if their result differs from mine. Thank you!

Update with my friend's results: the hard reset did work to re-propagate their custom items afterwards.

Hmmm, weird that you're the odd man out with your experience. Our admin had to reload too, but didn't see any persistent problems after that.

I've got a couple potential patches that might help in the line. Thank you for the help so far :)
