🎓 Data Analytics Internship Projects – Elevvo Pathways

This repository contains the projects I completed as part of my 2-Week Fully Sponsored Data Analytics Internship at Elevvo Pathways.
The internship focused on developing practical skills in Excel, SQL, Python, and Power BI through real-world tasks.

📌 Internship Overview

The Elevvo Pathways Data Analytics Internship is designed to provide hands-on exposure to:

  • Data Cleaning & Preparation
  • Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA)
  • SQL Queries & Business Insights
  • Interactive Dashboards (Excel & Power BI)
  • Business Storytelling with Data

I successfully completed the following tasks during the program:

📂 Projects

🔹 Task - 1 Superstore Sales Dashboard

  • Built an interactive sales dashboard in Excel using the Superstore Dataset.
  • Applied Pivot Tables, KPIs, and Charts to analyze total revenue, profit, and sales trends.
  • Added slicers for Segment, Category, Ship Mode, and Year to enable dynamic filtering.
  • Skills: Excel, Pivot Tables, KPIs, Data Visualization

🔹 Task 2 - Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA) on Titanic Dataset

  • Performed EDA in Python using Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, Seaborn.
  • Key analysis:
    • Survival by Gender, Passenger Class, Age, and Fare
    • Impact of traveling alone vs with family
    • Correlation analysis of key variables
  • 📊 Key Insights:
    • Females had a survival rate of ~74% vs males ~19%.
    • 1st class passengers had the highest survival (~62%), while 3rd class had the lowest (~24%).
    • Higher fare and younger age increased chances of survival.
    • Family presence improved survival rates compared to being alone.
  • 🎁 Bonus: Visualized survival rates using bar plots and heatmaps

🔹 Task 5 - SQL-Based Analysis of Chinook Database

  • Analyzed the Chinook Database using SQL queries.
  • Exported results into Python for visualization with Matplotlib & Seaborn.
  • Insights Generated:
    1. Top 10 Selling Products
    2. Revenue per Region
    3. Monthly Revenue Performance
    4. Average Monthly Revenue Performance
    5. Top 5 Ranked Functions (Bonus: Window Function)
  • Skills: SQL, Window Functions, Python Visualization

🔹 Task 8 - Power BI Retail Insights Dashboard

  • Developed an interactive Power BI dashboard with KPIs and dynamic filters.
  • KPIs: Total Orders, Revenue, Profit, Quantity Sold, Average Discount.
  • Visuals: Sales by Region, Sales by Category, Top 5 Products, Monthly Sales Trends, Sales by State (Map).
  • Integrated slicers for Region, Category, Segment, Ship Mode, and Customer.
  • Skills: Power BI, Data Modeling, DAX, Dashboard Design
