Device: iPad Air M3
OS: iPad OS 26.5
If the Files application is locked by biometrics (Face ID, Touch ID), downloaded Saved Media becomes inaccessible when the Moonfin app is updated.
Reproduction:
Files app locked by biometrics
Download media in Moonfin
Upgrade the Moonfin app
Expected:
Local Saved Media still playable
Actual:
File not available
Proposed solution
When accessing local Saved Media in Moonfin, prompt for biometrics unlock of Files app if needed.
Or, I'm assuming there's some sort of stored key when saving to Files initially. Media remains accessible until the app is updated.
