About the training duration

When I train the student model, the training time is too long，like this，needed 28 hours.The category of training is “screw_bag”.
Is that normal?

Hello, thank you for your interest in our work!
In my environment, the training time for the student model on a GTX1080Ti was around 12 hours.
The training process uses images from the ImageNet dataset, so the longer training time might be due to slow file loading. For example, if the dataset is stored on a network-attached storage, this could be a bottleneck.
Could you try placing the dataset on a faster storage device and see if it helps?
