Bug Summary
I wrote a song in LMMS and exported it as a MIDI file, then I imported it into an external program (i.e. Beepbox), and all of the notes were just smashed into one track including percussion.
On further investigation, I found out that the MIDI file itself is only one track. The default instrument on my device being piano, I could hear that all my notes from all the different instruments I used were being played as piano.
Expected Behaviour
I had thought the MIDI would still preserve the all notes from their respective individual tracks. It's not really even about cross-compatibility; it's also about having a usable MIDI file.
Steps To Reproduce
- Write a song (or open demo)
- Export MIDI
