Plugin window's keyboard does not play the full velocity

Bug Summary

When I click the very bottom of the keyboard in the plugin window, it does not play the maximum velocity. Apparently it plays 63 instead of 127.

Expected Behaviour

It should play the maximum velocity.

Steps To Reproduce

Load any plugin that can change the sound via velocity, like sf2 player for example.
Click the keyboard in the plugin window - the lower your cursor is, the higher the velocity should be. However, it's not high enough.

No thats not a bug -that is a feature!
(Love it each time i get to use that sentence.... :p
The more you click at the end of the key, the higher is the velocity. It is made that was so velocity also can be used with the mouse
There is one more setting that can influence the velocity. In the MIDI menu:

You can set the base-velocity for thát instrument.

Oh. I didn't know the velocity base was customizable. I don't even know why 63 is the default setting though, I think it should be 127 instead of 63.

I think it's cuz the velocity in the piano roll notes goes from 0 to 200%, so 63 being in the middle is alright. I do wish the default keypress note was customizable though, I don't like it being at 63.

It is useful, particularly in velocity-sensitive instruments, to have the default keypress volume to be middling rather than as high as possible.

If the default 100% volume is too low for musicguy on instruments (other than zynaddsubfx where it is too soft often) then it is possible that your volume is simply too low to hear things clearly.

That exactly! So I wouldn't change it alone. You would have to change it so there's only 0-100% in the Piano-Roll instead of 0-200%, which would break backwards compat.

As the value stretches from 0 to 127, 63 is in fact the 64th possible value. This is my understanding. So it is exactly half of the total range.

'63' is the 64th.
