Imports and package management

Writing one's own package manager adds a lot of complexity that isn't essential to Starstream's goals. Can we piggyback off of NPM, like some EVM projects do?

How should the language handle importing other contracts, syntactically and semantically?

Can we allow importing arbitrary WASM code?

I wonder if we can use WIT / WASM components and then leverage the WASM package manager ecosystem as well (although it doesn't really exist. Package managers like https://wa.dev/ are super bare-bones and efforts like https://github.com/bytecodealliance/wasm-pkg-tools are still early it feels). My preference would have been for JSR to have really nice support for WIT & WASM components and I created an issue to track that, but no response so far: jsr-io/jsr#858
