Device_Class missing

Describe the bug

Ive tracked down an issue with Device_Class not being set by Pyloxone, some device objects have Device_Class i,e blinds, awnings, door etc however some sensors dont have a device_class, ive read some closed Issues and understand that you cant interpret M3 or water etc to set a Device Class

in my case luftfeuchtigkeit which is Humidity does not have a Device_Class, i know i can set with a custom Helper however i have over 150 sensors without Device_Class.

Is it possible in your Integration to map luftfeuchtigkeit to Humidity, Or better still. for you to add the ability to set the device Class in the pyloxone configuration or by default set a Device_Class on sensors, by Default. That at least allows users to reclassify, vs using the YAML or creating template helpers!

Yep, the same issue I have. From some reason also I could not go around that via Customize.yaml, device_class is overvrited to "blank" value.

Customize.yam Did nit work for me, I made it directly in configuration.yaml and custom

@ladousek ok but I think this has nothing to do with pyloxone. At least if you can configure your sensor to the correct type everything is ok.

It was possible to custom sensor. Question is if it cannot be done by PyLoxone as it happens with temperature? Temperatures seems to be assigned.

I had exactly the same issue: I was unable to select the temperature sensors as temperature for each area in Home Assistant.

All my temperature sensor IDs are named like sensor.{room}_temperature. Therefore, I simply added the following to my configuration.yaml:

      device_class: temperature
      state_class: measurement

Just adding device_class: temperature did not help, but after also adding state_class: measurement allowed me selecting the temperature sensor in the area configuration dialog.

Note: In case you only reload the YAML configurations from the developer tools, the attributes seem to be updated once the sensor (i.e. the temperature) changes. I first wondered why only a few sensors had the device_class and state_class while others matching the same glob did not.
