Hi, great work!. Since the ac compatibility of Loxone is not good, but several integrations for Home Assistant (e.g. Midea) exist, it would be awesome, if you could implement the Air Condition function block! Thanks

While looking through the code i discovered, that there actually is an LoxoneAcControl Class and the AirConditioner get added to HomeAssistant, but almost all the controls are missing. The available modes are just OFF and Auto, whilst in Loxone it has OFF / AUTO / HEAT / COOL / DRY / FAN, also the temp preselection, Fan speed, Air direction, e.g. are not available...

@Aeronote I do not use a ac controller. Maybe you can implement by yourself. The ac control was not written by me. It was implemented by a user.

I already tried to play with the code a bit, but unfortunately I am not a good enough expert to fix it in reasonable time :) Is @gigatexel maybe interested to fix that portion of code? From my research a lot of people would appreciate a direct integration of their homeassistant controlled ACs into Loxone...

you are describing it the other way around. This integration maps a Loxone AC block to a Home Assistant device.
If you want to control the AC that is integrated in HA from Loxone, you need to use the HA API.

In my case yes, but if the code is corrected, the controls would work both ways… and pyloxone already recognizes the accontrol and adds it to homeassistant with just a few buttons missing. On / off works bidirectional. that would be a much sleeker implementation that putting in everything manually…

@Aeronote most problems on a complete integration with all commands is that Loxone works differently in comparison to Homeassistent. At the moment I am working on a rewrite of the websocket implementation. This is more important at the moment. Maybe we can implement it if this is finished.

@gigatexel the branches are equal for single components like the ACC control. So you can work on the master branch. I can merge it to the rewrite.

I also had the reconnection implemented and I need to merge some functionality from you pull request regarding the reconnection.

@gigatexel the current implementation of the rewrite fixes all problems which I had. So I think there is no need for the MQTT version.
