[GUI] Fail safe in case of PML generation issues

If the landscape generation fails, e.g., due to a failed map data retrieval, e.g., with error
overpy.exception.OverpassUnknownHTTPStatusCode: Unknown/Unhandled status code: 406
then the whole Promis GUI crashes.

This should be caught in general (not specifically for this error).
