This is an umbrella issue about the governance of the FBbi ontology (not about the contents of the ontology).
Some of the questions that will need to be addressed:
Where should FBbi live?
For now it lives within the FoundingGIDE GitHub organization. Can it stay there even after the conclusion of the GIDE project, or will we need to move it to another place?
Single contact address?
A single email address that people could use to send feedback would be nice. Preferably one that is not tied to one maintainer in particular (so, not my address). Something like ontology@XXX.YYY. Where should we create that address? GIDE? GerBI? OME? Whatever decision we make here should ideally be consistent with the decision about where the ontology should live (e.g. if we move the ontology to somewhere under OME, then the contact address should probably be under @openmicroscopy.org).
Collecting and organising community feedback
Relying solely on the GitHub tracker might not be sustainable and/or practical for the community.
