Summary
Many apps have the ability to be hidden from the menubar, and be activated by launching the app again (eg SuperCharge). I use the app in a set and forget way, so don't nee ready access to a menu bar item, but I can't hide it so it's just clutter i my set up.
Problem
People who set and forget don't want menu bar clutter
Proposed direction
The menubar was hideable - people who didn't want this and wanted quick access to change setting in the menu bar can still use it, but if hidden, users have to launch the app to access the main window with the settings.
Additional context
Supercharge runs like this.
