merging 2 bdfs

Hello,
I have two .bdf files (with identical headers) that I would like to merge. I was wondering if it's possible to do this in Cartool, and if so, would you have any advice or a suggested procedure?
Also, I would like the merged file to remain in the .bdf format.

Hi Tanja

Sorry, I thought you wished to merge 2 BDF files into something else, which would be straightforward with Cartool. Do you really need the merged file to be a BDF one?
Cartool can not save as BDF for the moment, but I can have a quick look to see how much needs to be changed. Maybe I can do a prototype and you could test it?
