Hello Denis, I would like to ask you how to export microstate tags using cartool, that is, I want to know the type of microstate corresponding to each time point, thank you!

Hi,
This info, the per time frame labelling, is already written in 2 types of files: the .vrb verbose file, and the .seg files. I guess if you want to read or reprocess them, the best way would be to read said .seg (text) files:

• Segmentation results
• .seg files format

Hello!

I am using Cartool on an Intel processor on one of my laptops and it works great!
But I also have a Windows VM running under an ARM processor, but on that, Cartool does not work since it's an ARM-based processor, not Intel. Are there any plans to extend Cartool's native support to include ARM-based processors too?

Good question, as it seems ARM CPU are getting more and more popular...

First, Microsoft advertizes that 64bit programs for Intel should be working on Windows 11. So have you tried it? They also say that 32bit versions would run on Windows 10, but I am not going to go backward and release a 32bit version again!

Second, it seems feasable to compile Cartool for ARM, as Visual Studio allows it, and to have a genuine ARM executable. But I have to also check that the few librairies and packages I use also compile fine, too. And check the whole compatibilities between the Intel and the ARM versions, result-wise. How much time I can dedicate to this issue will depend on the number of requests, basically...

So there is hope, and I can add a ticket for this so it is in the stack. We can also try to track the number of requests and see..
