Observed behaviour

The bps_l1_framing_processor is:

• Present in the BPS GitHub repository (https://github.com/BioPAL/BPS/tree/develop/bps-l1_framing_processor/bps/l1_framing_processor)
• NOT available through conda installation (https://github.com/BioPAL/BPS#install-bps-for-users)
• Mentionned in MAAP Coding Space tutorial (https://portal.maap.eo.esa.int/ini/kb/books/collaborative-environment-pal/page/biomass-processing-suite-bps#bkmrk-2.3-%E2%80%94-l1f-chain-%28fra)
• JOBuilder seems to work as expected for this processor

Would it be possible to make the L1F processor available via conda, the tarballs or another distribution method?

Install BPS via tarball or conda seems to not give access to L1F processor.

I can confirm that there is currently no Conda package for the Framing Processor, as it was originally developed solely for use within the ground segment.

That said, we are currently exploring options to make it available more widely.
